Pada Varnam - Sri Ganeshatparam, Ragam - Gowla by Nallan Chakravarthy Murthy

Ghana Raaga Varna Panchakam containing Pada Varnams in the five Ghanaragas is a novel creation. After composing Tana Varnams in the 72 Mela Kartas, Sri N.C. Murthy was inspired to compose varnams in the Ghanaragas. In the process, it came to his notice that Pada Varnams have not been composed by any of the earlier composers. Hence, he embarked on this task, and by the grace of Almighty, his effort fructified into this booklet. All these Pada Varnams are devotional in nature with the Gowla Raga Varnam devoted to Lord Ganesha. He obtained the blessings for his varnams by Sadguru Sri Sri Sri Sivananda Murthy garu and his guruji Mahamahopadhyaya Prof. (Dr.) Nookala China Satyanarayanagaru. He prays the Almighty for the due propagation of these Pada Varnams through students, Vidwans, and Music lovers.
