Sri Nallan Chakravarthy Murthy is a path-breaking Vaggeyakara of the 21st Century. He has composed over 500 compositions including varnams, keertanas, thillanas and padams.
Sri N.C. Murthy hails from the very illustrious "Nallan Chakravarthy" family which has produced famous pundits and vidwans in fine arts and literature. Sri N.C. Murthy took to Carnatic music at a very young age under the tutelage of the great guru of South Indian Carnatic Music, Padma Bhushan, Maha Mahopadhyaya Prof. Dr. Nookala Chinna Satyanarayana, and has come a long way from thereon.
